FINALBOX Terms of Use

 These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) apply to FINALBOX.net service (“Service”) managed by TANGENT-X Corporation. FINALBOX.net (“we”) provides digital contents (“Files”) storage service. We will continue to store your data even after your subscription expires. You can retrieve your data anytime when you re-subscribe. By registering, accessing and/or using the Service, you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms.

Account Registration and Terminating

  • You must provide your e-mail address, username, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup processes.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure your information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • You can stop using the Service any time.

    • Account Security

    You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You are responsible for any activity using your account, whether or not you authorized that activity. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

    Your Rights

    By using the Service you provide us with information and files that you submit to us, You retain full ownership to your files. We don’t claim any ownership to any of it. These Terms do not grant us any rights to your stuff or intellectual property except for the limited rights that are needed to run the Services. We may need your permission to provide the Services such as hosting your files or sharing them at your direction. This includes product features visible to you, for example, image thumbnails or document previews. It also includes design choices we make to technically administer the Services, for example, how we redundantly backup data to keep it safe. You give us the permissions we need to do those things solely to provide the Services. This permission also extends to trusted third parties we work with to provide the Services.We use Google document viewer to preview some files. To preview files using Google document viewer, you are agreeing to Google Terms of Service.

    Your Responsibilities

    Files and other content in the Service may be protected by intellectual property rights of others. Please do not copy, upload, download, or share files unless you have the right to do so. You will be fully responsible and liable for what you copy, share, upload, download or otherwise use while using the Services. You may not use or attempt to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

    Modifications to the Service

    The Service may contain bugs, errors, problems or other limitations. We have no liability whatsoever for your use of any information or service. We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service with or without notice.

    Disclaimer of Liability

    We will not be responsible for any damages you may suffer as a result of your use of the Service. You expressly understand and agree that we shall not be liable to you for any punitive, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses for any other matter relating to the Service. In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount paid by you. Use of the Service and interpretation and application of these Terms are in compliance with the laws of Japan, except as otherwise provided. As for all disputes related to the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance, except as otherwise provided.
